Actually I could turn the cute romance version of this story (the one where a trans lady and her lesbian partner figure out a way to be together and raise a baby together in the victorian era) into a series

Where they go around helping other LGBTQ people come up with clever workarounds for existing in an era where they’re not supposed to.

Like arranging for each member of a lesbian couple to marry the members of a gay couple and having them share a house with a secret passage so that everyone can switch round without any suspicion, and making new identities for trans people, and probably also helping women access birth control and escape from abusive partners and other stuff.  

I feel like they could have some fun adventures.
