- Record your conversations for later so you can hold them against the company
- If it is a dispute over more than 100 bucks, you need to speak to a manager. Give no fucks, get that manager.
- If customer service continues to give you the runaround and fuck up, go over its head, contact administrative departments.
- Threaten legal action.
- Threaten media exposure (contact local media, make story sound dramatic, they’re usually short on news, make sure you sound sane and wholesome and all American and nice)
- Record and date and file all phone conversations and email communications.
- Remain calm and friendly while threatening them with legal action and negative media attention.
- Have all your information ready.
- Do NOT get off the phone until it is resolved. Escalate as often as needed, hold as often as needed, stay on the phone while peeing.
- Do not get mad at the employee, it is not their fault. You do not want to get them fired, you just want to sneak around their boss’s evil nightmare system.
