Yes. Like, yes it is harder to find a foundation that works (I blend white foundation into another one) if you are extremely pale, but paleness does not: 1. get excluded from beauty standards, there are always more than a few ghostly pale cultural beauty icons. 2. Come with a whopping helping of violence, genocide, and discrimination 3. Mirror the experience of POC in any way! Also there are extremely pale POC, who probably also have a shit time finding foundation on top of experiencing systemic racism. Like… if you don’t have “white people” undertones, finding foundation even if you’re roughly the same place on color tone (as in the technical term referring to the lightness or darkness of a color) and you have a hue (color theory term) that’s uncommon for white people, you will have a shitty time finding foundation and albinism exists in people of all backgrounds, so basically fellow ultra pale white people, we have places to have conversations about makeup that works for us, we don’t need to take over POC spaces where they’re talking about stuff for their skintone OR claim our experience is analogous.
