Re-blog if you believe sex work should be decriminalized and people should be free to make money however they can.

I am sorry but consider this: A lot of sex workers, especially women are forced , cheated and coerced into this profession and decriminalising would in no way help. It will just end up helping the sex traffickers.

SEX WORK AND SEX TRAFFICKING ARE NOT THE SAME THING. And, news flash, decriminalizing WOULD help. What doesn’t help is arresting people who are trafficked when they try to report it, which is what happens now and which is why trafficking thrives. When people are scared to report their abuse because they’ll be arrested for prostitution, they don’t. Decriminalization would help VICTIMS. Don’t talk out of your ass.

Idk how anyone thinks arresting victims will help, that’s literally like saying “well now that we’ve made being robbed illegal you don’t have to worry about being robbed”
