NO DON’T SUPPORT SEX WORKERS. DON’T SUPPORT WHITE SEX WORKERS, DON’T SUPPORT BLACK OR ASIAN OR ANY KNID OF WOMAN WHO WAS TAKEN AWAY FROM HER LIFE AND FORCED INTO PROSTITUTION AND SLAVERY, YOU STUPID FUCK!

please do not confuse sex trafficking with sex work.

They go hand in hand far too often, and this is what I’m beginning to hate about Tumblr. Please stop trying to view the taboo in black and white and pick one side. People try so hard to be open-minded that they disregard the harsh reality of the subject matter at hand, and the fact that these things are not at all what they seem. Sex “work” is not glamorous, sex “work” is not liberating, sex “work” is not humane. Please do not be fooled by appearances. Do not support human sex trafficking indirectly through the porn/ sex industry.

Stop speaking for us. Stop. Speaking. For. Us. Sex work and sex trafficking do not go hand in hand, they cannot by nature. Can you even accurately define the two?
Stop speaking over us. Stop speaking for us.

That’s funny because I feel glamorous and empowered. Maybe it’s because sex work involves a choice and sex trafficking does not but hey that’s just a thought.

I feel glamourous and empowered by not by my work, my work is just… my work, it’s a job, a customer service job, the pay’s good though and that’s about all you can ask for under capitalism.

I find it fascinating that the original was “don’t support any kind of woman who was forced into prostitution and slavery,” which… even if you don’t believe in sex work, why on Earth would you not want to support someone who has been victimized? Kinda shows what they think of all sex workers, no?

Pretty much
