Like stars, blogs are born and die every day. And even if you’re across your Jezebel, Feministing, and Feministe, chances are there are a suite of writers and publications out there you’re yet to discover.Here are 10 next-generation feminist blogs, founded in 2012 or later, youshould be adding to your blogroll, Twitter feed, and Facebook pages.

Everyday Feminism: If there is one blog that exemplifies the kind of feminism I’m
passionate about, it is Everyday Feminism. Founded in 2012 by Sandra Kim, this
site is consistently smart, heart-centred, and utterly intersectional, hosting
provocative conversations about everything from race, to body image, to being a
good ally. Check out: Feminism is a Verb: Why the Movement has no use for Fad Feminism. 

Lady Clever: Brainy essays
on traditionally “lifestyle mag” issues such as sex, body image and Beyonce,
with a small-p political twist. Check
out: Rage Writing: When Writers Sell Anger at a High Price.

Feminist Current: Canada’s
leading feminist blog takes a decidedly more radical perspective than many of
its counterparts to the south. Check out: Sorry, wearing heels doesn’t help
women with anything.

For Harriet: A
community dedicated to “celebrating the fullness of Black womanhood,” spanning
feminism, politics, love, popular culture and more. Check out: A Colored Girl
Considering Womanism When Feminism Isn’t Enough.
 

The UnSlut Project:
Founded by freelance writer and PhD candidate Emily Lindin, the UnSlut Project
shares the stories of girls and women who have experienced slut shaming, exploring
how and why  sexual bullying happens. Check

Erin to the Max:
Reproductive rights activist Erin Matson’s blog is a treasure trove of insights
into feminist activism, spanning everything from celebrity feminism to current
affairs. Check out: How to be an amazing feminist if you are a man. 

Vagenda: If you
live in the UK, you’ll know these ladies already – their fierce, witty take on women’s media have made them superstars (with all the controversy that
entails) in their home country. If you don’t live in the UK, get on to them

Fembot: Feminism
and social justice issues with a serious pop-culture twist. Check out: 5 common

Feminist Wednesday: A
feminist storytelling blog and podcast (they’ve featured my book, The Sex Myth)  headed up by creative tour de force Erin Bagwell, which aims to turn the most
boring day of the week (that’d be Wednesday) into something uplifting and inspirational.
