This is so symbolic of “The Nice Guy” mindset, they are so stuck in their victim mentality they cannot deal with the reality that they are not a nice guy.

A man that claims that women don’t like him because he respects them while he is writing about his lack of respect for them cannot recognise that within himself.

This is a huge part of why I don’t trust anybody who says they are “nice” guy, partly because I feel that such things should be self evidence, but acting like being “nice” makes you worthy is also very strange. It is a very basic thing, niceness, most people have it in them and yet these people want to wave it around like it’s an Olympic medal, like it means something.

“I’m a nice guy”.

No, you’re not. But even if you were I can assure you that “niceness” is not enough to make a whole, complete person and it shouldn’t be your defining quality.
