I don’t understand how a portmanteau accronym can be seen as a monolithic abusive setting (even if I’m 500% onboard with kink criticism). Plus English is not my native language, which doesn’t have a word for “kinky” (closest translation is “coquin” but this word is used as “nicely naughty”). BDSM is the closest thing we have to an umbrella term for the multitude of relationships in B/D, D/S and S/M
