Also I’m kind of freaked about having my nose ring out, I’ve had it for more than a decade

I so feel this! I’ve had mine over a decade, I forget it’s even there. It’s just like part of my face to me. I don’t remember the last time I had it out, in fact the jewelry I have in it doesn’t come out, it’d have to be cut off I think.

The other night at work this guy kept going on and on about how I needed to take it out and I was too pretty I didn’t need a piercing it was v annoying. Like this is my face man get over it.

I don’t know the specific guidelines you were given so this might not be an option, but many professional piercers have products that people can use if they’re worried about preserving a piercing (I’m spacing on the name, sorry!) in medical situations where there can’t be metal. I don’t know if that would be an option.
