Socially constructed doesn’t mean Not Real, it means that people made a thing to describe a thing and maybe we made it bad or maybe we made it good, maybe it needs minor tweaking but the thing is, we can give it minor tweaks or small fixes or even trash it and make another, it operates on paradigms and that’s super useful!

Language is socially constructed. Math is socially constructed. Radical feminism is a social construct. Sex dimorphic theory is a social construct. Etc is a social construct (literally haha)

listener-blue mathematics as a social construct?

Your thoughts dear?

What does OP mean by  “Sex dimorphic theory is a social construct“ ? Sexual dimorphism is completely physical and it’s easily observable, not a theory

You’re wrong, you’re anti intersex and you’re bad at life. Please rethink everything.

And here, boys, girls and others, is where we see a wonderful teaching opportunity that was totally missed, and a response which, instead of educating, attempts to batter the previous respondent into submission.

When we see someone who is wrong, and who is asking for clarification, the appropriate response is to provide clarification in a neutral-to-friendly tone. For example, “Sex dimorphic theory is a construct because it ignores the existence of intersex people.”  This would be a much more successful method of answering the question.

The assertion that the questioning party is “anti intersex and … bad at life” is unnecessarily aggressive and what we in the South often refer to as being “hateful”.  It will not serve the purpose of educating the questioner; instead, it will put the questioner on the defensive, probably make them angry, and possibly turn them off to any further open-minded discussion of the topic.

Let’s all maybe try being less of an asshole next time.
