I fucking hate when western feminists talk about “sex trade” in “the third world” when they 1) have never fucking been to that country & 2) assume all women over there are victims and need you to save them. sex work exists everywhere, sex workers rights are a topic everywhere, and yes even sex workers organizations exists everywhere. that includes places like vietnam, haiti, china, brazil, and mexico where y’all are putting people in danger by pushing for more criminalization.

Uh. Sex trafficking isn’t the same as sex work. So, you know, criminalization of sex trafficking actually is important.

oh my god

stop oppressing slaves with your western notions of freedom! (?)

shut the fuck up honestly

you are fucking vile and disgusting. do you know that? do you know much of a subhuman you are for labeling women you’ve never met actual slaves for trying to survive while completely ignoring that actual history of slavery in their countries?? My post was specifically about how western radical feminists deny the agency of “third world” sex workers by exploiting their pain & erasing the existence of their own civil rights organizations. and here you are doing the same damn thing.

yeah your western notions of freedom & liberation have brought in NGOs that rape women in exchange for food in places like haiti. most of the people from these NGOs eventually become clients to these women anyway. if you care about slaves so much then where the fuck are you when haitian women get trafficking in slavery in the DR? where the fuck are you when southeast asian sex workers are forced into sweat shops? Or do you only label work as slavery when it’s women trying to feed their families?

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ the fact that they ignore women being enslaved when it’s not for sexual labor is because they think sexual labor is gross, not because they care about the use of slave labor.
