Another thing, I was going through the Hot Girls Wanted tag and someone posted some bullshit opinion denying women’s experiences (what else is new), and they tagged it “come at me swerfs”.

Do you think this is a fucking game?? Do you think that the issues women face in the sex industry is something that can be debated via tumblr message??

These issues aren’t theoretical. THEY ARE EVILS WOMEN FACE EVERY SINGLE DAY.

I’m not going to a play a game of lets send each other anonymous messages on tumblr. I’m not going to spend time arguing with you. If you are okay with women being raped on camera so men can jack off to it, then go ahead and live your life as a rape apologist.

It’s not a fucking game.

And don’t you dare come at me with “not all sex workers” “not the entire sex industry”.

If there is ANY chance of a woman being raped. If that is all a possibility, then the entire industry needs to be SHUT DOWN. Rape should never be an occupational hazard

“Come at me swerfs”  .

You do know that rape can happen at anytime right??? I mean tons of kids get raped in school by their teachers, do you want that institution shut down? I was sexually harassed and groped when I sold coffee and my boss didn’t give two shits about it. I’m a sex worker, I chose this job, I enjoy my work. I can say no to clients, I can put my safety first.

The reason sex workers are targeted more is because of documentaries like the piece of shit you’re defending. It makes us look like we are trash, we look disposable, it harms us because it doesn’t treat sex work like real work, it doesn’t treat sex workers like real workers, and it doesn’t treat us like human beings. Sex work is a profession chosen all over the world, for centuries and will be here forever. As a feminist one of the main war cries I hear over and over again is ‘feminism is the radical notion that women are people,’

And as a woman, and as a sex worker, and as feminist, I am a person, my work deserves to be respected. No tells women who sew to stop completely because of sweatshops. No one tells local farmers to stop because of the human trafficking of produce pickers. No one tells maids and butlers to stop working because again, people are trafficked in to be house slaves. People are trafficked for a lot more reasons than sex, and all of them deserve protection, not just the ones anti sex workers need to continue making my job, and my livelihood as a sex worker and a woman more dangerous.

lmao at phone sex/cam workers who think they can speak for prostituted women. of course YOU’RE not going to get raped in the course of business – you never even have to touch a man!
y’all have no idea how much privilege you have over prostituted women and it would be funny if it wasn’t so damn offensive.

I spent the ages 15-19 as a prostitute and I agree fully with fullten – and yes, I have had some shitty things happen, very physically, in the course of the job. It’s an occupational hazard, it really is.

What really needs to change is the system that gets women desperate enough to whore if they don’t want to, or work in sweatshops, etc. For so many barriers to livable employment to fall. The primary problems with sex work can all be solved if workers have the financial power to say ‘fuck this and fuck you’.

I’m a prodomme and exstripper @matriarcalmayhem, and you are a bad person

I did a lot of domme work. That shit is fun as hell.

I know, right?
