It’s misleading that news stations are saying Trump made “anti-immigration” comments. Really, he made anti-Mexican comments. Hardly any white person is 100% against immigration. They’re just against people of color immigrating. White immigration is pretty much invisible when it comes to immigration “debates.”
That said, they make it hard for anyone to immigrate so it doesn’t seem super racist, but I’m pretty sure D and I would have spent even longer in immigration hell if D wasn’t white, but I still wasn’t allowed to live with my spouse for the first year of our marriage.
