The Only Real Issue I Forsee is Too Many People Deciding They Want to Run Restaurants At First

But they’ll get bored with it and realize that running restaurants isn’t as exciting as they imagine after the first few years.

I actually don’t see this as a problem at all, provided they’re flexible about it and the form evolves to circumstance. Dividing up cooking per individual household is incredibly inefficient and most people don’t like cooking all their own meals. Despite the rhetoric now, there’s nothing wrong or unhealthy about most people eating most of their meals out or as takeout food.  If some ppl are running the “restaurants” and some people drop in to work a shift/meal once a week and practically everyone is getting most of their meals from such a place…  that actually sounds a lot better than everyone subsisting on pre-made food where the labor happened much further away (frozen dinners and the like) or socially pressuring people-mostly-women to do all this extra work to individually provide healthy meals to their families.

That’s not what I meant, people get terribly excited and think “Wouldn’t it be fun to have my own little restaurant” with no idea how to run a restaurant and it tends to end rather badly because they don’t actually like what’s involved in running a restaurant.

It’s usually semi-bougie people who’ve retired and think this is the perfect way to spend their golden years
