Also being a sanitation worker is actually very dangerous. It’s the fifth most dangerous job in the US. Significantly more dangerous than being a cop (which doesn’t even make the top ten), they often die or are seriously injured in the line of duty, also before we had sanitation workers numerous illnesses ran rampant (like cholera and typhus and all sorts of other horrible shit) because of all the horrible crap left to decay all over the place and in the water supply and everywhere.
They literally risk their lives to protect the public.
Heroize sanitation workers and not cops.

Cops murder innocent people, fuck cops. A woman was murdered by police in my city yesterday. Cops did nothing when my business was robbed, nothing when my basement was burgled, nothing when I was accosted by a flasher, instead they harass and intimidate my friends, assault and rape sex workers and generally make every problem they are supposed to solve worse.
