I don’t do political work because I enjoy it

Activism isn’t a hobby for me, I do what I do because I cannot exist within the system as it stands. I’m an artist, I like indulgence and pleasure and beautiful things, but I can’t have my writing, my pleasure, my peace in this world so all I can do is fight to change it
