Can we all agree that libertarian/capitalist transhumanism is shit.

Can you elaborate on this? Libertarianism and capitalism are pretty shit already, but what does that entail transhumanism and how does it affect it?

Capitalist/libertarian transhumanism has the potential to benefit only the already rich and powerful, thus furthering the gap between them and everyone else. The rich and powerful could use the technology integrated into your body to take advantage of you even more than they already could have.

We need equal or at least widespread and affordable access to safe transhumanist technologies, rather than leaving those factors up to the market and special interests.

I don’t think transhumanist technologies under a capitalist society would necessarily be disastrous. But transhumanism thought that is specifically libertarian/capitalist? That’s definitely shit and should be avoided.
