Yes, vaginas are wonderful, self-cleansing beauties and you shouldn’t clean them internally…
….
……
……..
………. but…
Please wash your sweaty vulvas and labia majoras with warm soap and water.

Thanks

Hahah I was thinking about making a post like this while in a hotel bathroom today.

Spot on.

Just warm water is ok, soap is basic and the vulva wants to remain acidic

In answer to your question in the tags, yes soap does do that, and increases your risk of UTIs and yeast infections.  If you’re really sweaty a mixture of 20% vinegar and 80% water on a wash cloth will deal with the sweat issue without compromising your chemical balance.

I am yet again amazed that there are people who write this shit down and laugh to themselves and thought “I showed those dirty people”.
I am an escort, I present my genitals for a living, and I have been using nothing but warm water for … I don’t know, years? I have never had complaints from partners or clients ever. I have excellent water pressure, a detachable shower head and I shower usually at least once a day.
There is absolutely no fucking need to introduce soap to my vulva, I am not dirty, I am not smelly and if you wash regularly and thoroughly, you aren’t either.
Obviously soap is a good idea for the anus region, and so are wet wipes, but not for the labia majora beause it’s gonna transfer inward and upset things.
Obviously if you wax, like me, a gentle organic scrub is also a good idea once or twice a week to prevent ingrowns.
Seriously not fond of these posts, especially when they come from people with no medical background.

Since the fact that I have had a vagina all my life isn’t enough for MissCherry to accept that I know my vagina I found some gynecologists that agree with me that washing with a non-scented natural soap on your vulva is not harmful. And they’re recommending this to women who don’t constantly have lube, faces, others genitals, condoms, hotel sheet lint etc all over their lady bits.

I’m glad you found out what works for your vagina!

GOOD FOR YOU.

But don’t you dare tell me that since I haven’t studied gynecology or women’s health I don’t know how to treat my body. That is such a Western view on medicine that completely ignores the 1st person experience of living.

I had far more yeast infections when I constantly had back to back appointments and no time to properly wash in between, water based lubricants don’t wash off with just water and can be holding whatever was on someone else’s skin onto your body.

If soap doesn’t work for you that’s fine but escorts should take extra care to stay sanitary since we are exposed to far more bodily contact and sweat.

It really rubs me the wrong way that your basis for calling me out was on the fact that I don’t have a medical degree. There are plenty of Gynos that still think it’s A-OK to douche, should we all agree with them?

Everyone is different.

Of course, also we may be working with different definitions of vulva, from what I can tell you don’t want to wash the very delicate mucous producing bits inside the lips of the labia majora with soap, outside of that soap is fine (though using a gentle one isn’t a bad idea)
