Because of this passage in genesis “So the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and he slept; then He took one of his ribs and closed up the flesh at that place. The LORD God fashioned into a woman the rib which He had taken from the man, and brought her to the man.“
Men have six ribs.
I mean even if you believe the passage it doesn’t say how many ribs he had initially so maybe he had seven before one was taken? Also like it says rib, not pair of ribs, so wouldn’t men have an uneven number then?
