Interrupting anyone is kind of a dick move, though.

Actually it depends on the manners of where you are in the northeastern us for example we have a rushed, overlapping interjection based style of conversation style, in the south we’d be rude, in the north since its expected and accepted as how conversation works, it’s normal

Uh, nah. I live in the northeast, and it’s still impolite to interrupt people. Maybe not in Massachusetts, but likes Massholes anyway.

Nope. I think I’d notice if I was being interrupted all the time because being interrupted is one of my biggest pet peeves. Everyone I know thinks it’s disrespectful, and more often than not will call people out when they do it. The entire northeast is not Massachusetts.
