Whether you think you’re selling sex voluntarily or not (hint: still exploited), you are still serving men and validating patriarchy, sexism, misogyny and violence towards women.

Hint: You don’t know what the hell you’re talking about.

Anybody in any industry is going to potentially be “serving” men.

It doesn’t matter if you’re a astronaut, writer, retail worker, etc.

At some point you’ll likely be under the authority of a man.

Posting ignorant things like this is a prime example of sexism and misogyny.

Not all clients are men.

Plenty of women are interested in the services of both men and women.

Trying to shame female sex workers while claiming to be a feminist is literally moronic. You can’t just be a feminist when it’s convenient.

You telling a woman in any way how she can use her body is misogyny.

Men aren’t told how they should handle their bodies or told their being exploited because they’re comfortable in their sexual nature.

Women being told they asked to be rape is violence against women.

Women being sexually harassed but unable to report it due to fear of losing their job is violence against women.

Trans women being murdered strictly for being trans is violence against women.

Defunding critical health care sources for lower income areas such as Planned Parenthood is violence against women.

Sex workers being physically and emotionally harassed by law enforcement is violence against women.

You telling a woman how to live her life is violence against women,

Being a sex worker is not.

Your body = Your Rules

Our bodies = Our rules.

I would suggest getting off your high horse and taking time to actually educate yourself on the issues before speaking on things you clearly know nothing about.

That’s interesting you think you know who I am? Have you ever even talked to former “sex workers” that FIGHT AGAINST THIS EXPLOITATIVE INDUSTRY? Do you even know any?

Let me breakdown your stupidity for you (lack of education sure does stifle some people):

“Anybody in any industry is going to potentially be “serving” men. It doesn’t matter if you’re a astronaut, writer, retail worker, etc.At some point you’ll likely be under the authority of a man.”

Prostitution is the arguably the world’s oldest profession, women throughout time have had to sexually service men, you are not doing anything groundbreaking or feminist (even if you think your illusion of choice changes this core systematic aspect).

Women have never, throughout history, been able to be astronauts, doctors and so forth. These are careers that have always been closed off to women. The very fact that these positions are now filled by women is a step in EQUALITY. When women reach high positions in their field, their very act undermines patriarchy and sexism. They do not serve men, they serve (all) people and society.

There is no high level of prostitution you can reach to change the fact that you service men. At best, you will be a MADAM that exploits other women FOR MEN.

“Not all clients are men. Plenty of women are interested in the services of both men and women.”

LOL do you even know the statistics on johns and prostitutes? If you seriously don’t think that the overwhelming majority of customers are men and the overwhelming gender of prostitutes are women, you’re too delusional to even talk with. I suggest you look up those stats yourself and do some research.

You telling a woman in any way how she can use her body is misogyny. Men aren’t told how they should handle their bodies or told their being exploited because they’re comfortable in their sexual nature.”

Can you even define misogyny? It doesn’t seem like you understand what it is?

I’m not telling you how you can use your body, do whatever the fk you want lol you’re still harming yourself and validating an exploitative and dangerous sex industry that harms women.

A few boys can be exploited in the sex industry too, they grow up to be men that can’t escape the “sex work” = “sexual slavery”

(watch the kidnapped and exploited children that serve the same industry you’re in , youtube the video on “Boystown” and the “Franklin coverup”) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sQHrbJPhus4

and if some men were here validating that same industry as righteous and not harmful, I’d be telling them the same thing lol.

But the subaltern in the sex industry does not get to speak. The children in Boystown do not get to speak. You’re here instead speaking for them, SAYING THE SAME INDUSTRY THAT EXPLOITS, KIDNAPS AND RAPES THEM IS OK.

“Being a sex worker is not.Your body = Your RulesOur bodies = Our rules

What you do affects OTHER people and society, it’s not just YOUR body when you harm others with your words that validate rapists and an exploitative sex industry. You just THINK it’s “your” rules, but it’s not, it’s the same rules it’s always been, wake the fk up.

Your stats are bad, the former sex workers you’re talking about are mostly liars, I know trafficking survivors who fight for decrim, and equality will come when more women patronize sex workers, not when fewer men do

Are you saying that farm laborers are slaves as well, cause when you equate paid labor to slavery, that’s how you sound.

This is some liberal ass bourgeois nonsense right here.
