Cause you know what? The victims of witch trials weren’t fucking witches, they were just people who were unpopular and a convenient scapegoat when people got sick or had a bad harvest or whatever. They didn’t do anything, they were not what they were accused of being and your bullshit is actually gross and insulting, because it implies you believe the mass hysteria of the time. It’s bad history and its disrespectful. That said I think the fact that the majority of the time the people they went after were women says a lot about who society looks to when it needs a scapegoat.
The accurate version is “We are the descendants of people who were really fucking annoying according to their neighbors but weren’t murdered during a wave of mass hysteria resulting from climate change and religious tensions”
