Like men are able to get away with never expressing of requesting help with their feelings because women are trained from a very young age to observe men, watch for signs of emotional need and environmental stressors and deal with them without being asked.  It’s why women worry constantly about emasculating the men in their lives but men never worry about “efeminating” the women in their lives.

Men are “stoic” only because they don’t have to communicate in order to get their emotional needs met.

Refuse to anticipate their emotions and deal with them accordingly and watch how fast that “stoicism” deteriorates into pettiness, cruelty, and abuse.

Ok, so every anti-porn, “anti-prostitution” feminist harms sex workers. I am a sex worker. I’ve dealt with a lot of this shit in my life. It’s exhausting. I read your blog enough to see a lot of shit complaining about porn, and sex work.

Initially I was just going to thank you for supporting me and tell you your makeup is good and that you’re adorable (prior to realizing the shitty politics re: sex work).

So here’s my basic position: I am a sex worker, and a feminist. Sex work is not inherently misogynist, but the way it functions under patriarchy is, the way to eliminate the misogynist element is not to eliminate sex work but to eliminate patriarchy, though also all work will always be shitty under capitalism.
