I do not get at all why people accuse me of being a SWERF. Like the only stuff about the topic of prostitution that I reblog is, to the best of my understanding, about how what prostitutes go through is horrible, how it’s a terrible thing that so many prostitutes are victims of trafficking and their rights are denied, how it’s generally a horrible situation to deal with etc.

but talking to people that accuse me of being a SWERF is so difficult because they won’t explain what it is that I’m doing or saying that means I hate prostitutes. I mean all the stuff about prostitution that I reblog is typically, as far as I’m aware, about how their rights are abused, and about how they shouldn’t be trafficked, and they deserve to have their human rights respected etc. but people say that I hate prostitutes.

I’m pretty anxious about what stuff about prostitution I reblog in the first place, because of last time someone accused me of being a SWERF and they wouldn’t say what it was that I was doing that hurt prostitutes – they just blocked me and then started making up lies about how I was saying that they enjoyed getting raped, and that I wanted all prostitutes to die, all that kind of stuff. If I’m saying something that’s actually damaging, tell me, but nobody ever does. They just tell me I’m a shitbag and then refuse to explain why.

Okay, so your narratives about “prostitution” (which is a slur, don’t use that word) are blatantly false, most full service sex workers (that is the appropriate term) are A: fine with their jobs (as much as you can be with any job under capitalism) B: chose said job for REASONS and C: It’s mostly not actually that horrible.

Like it’s a job, a customer service job, clients are shitty, which is not to deny that yes in relatively rare cases horrific human rights abuses and slave labor occurs, but also that happens in the agriculture so… ugh I haven’t slept again, but will someone else handle this?

Also handling your bougie feels is not my problem.
