Basically it forbade people from carrying loaded weapons on the street in California. It was designed to crack down on the Black Panthers, who were patrolling neighborhoods in Oakland.
I’m not fan of the Black Panthers, but it was ridiculous to curb everybody’s rights just to stop one group. Thankfully Reagan saw the error of his ways in the 80s and was for more 2nd Amendment rights then.
Yeah after managing to destroy the panthers organization with false arrests and frame jobs (fuck Reagan’s racism and general bullshit). The Panthers were awesome and you are a piece of shit.
