(which I doubt) I suggest we have a variety of apps and online games, that give you little xbox achievements for socially necessary labor or like armor upgrades for MMOs and shit, people find WOW and Candy Crush and validation from their fitbit addictive, surely we can use these principals to encourage labor while freely giving the products to people as needed.
Im sorry, who would make those? We can barely motivate people to work with capitalism what makes you think the drug addicts and “yung thugs” in the streets are going to suddenly want to pitch in? Getting some sweet ‘chieve’s? Yeah ok thats worth a lot (pro tip: gamers like achievements because theyre recognition for doing something that not everyone can accomplish, not because we like the little ding and picture that pops up)
1. Wage labor incentives laziness. You’re getting paid a shit wage, and you don’t get more for being more productive. You have no stake in the wellbeing of the business and your relationship with it is antagonistic. Capitalism creates laziness.
2. Pokemon Go. Pokemon motherfucking go. DO YOU SEE HOW MUCH THAT MOTIVATES PEOPLE? Give them some augmented reality shit that makes assembling widgets entertaining.
3. Drug addiction is often the result of a life that is too painful to deal with (like say… intense poverty) so I’m pretty sure that’ll be reduced post revolution, also drug addicts are often quite functional if they have a clean consistent supply of their drug (many doctors are addicted to morphine and function just fine because their supply is clean and they know how to inject it properly)
