As promised, here’s Part I of what is turning into an impossibly-long series ^^ (there will be four parts in all, I think)
Enjoy/Like/Share!

I think that this just proves both options suck and hetero romance tropes are scary

What makes you say that? All romance involve push and pull, risk, vulnerability, etc. Sure, it’s scary, but so is life.

When your choices are: Mr. Demeans you constantly and Mr. Literally a kidnapper/murderer/what-have-you… like??? y’ know?  Those both seem like bad choices?  Why not neither? Why are these two terrible people her only options?

I managed to find a spouse who has never kidnapped me and doesn’t demean me constantly, surely we could write fiction where that was an option.

Like risk and vulnerability sure… but like kidnapping, fucking, kidnapping?  That doesn’t show a whole lot of respect for a person’s bodily autonomy and like… yeah no.
