I hope you remember that the next time you get robbed. I hope you remember that the next time you get in a car accident. I hope you remember that if you ever find yourself in any kind of danger. Cops are here to help, serve, and protect. Not all cops are bad just like not all poc are these saints that people make them out to be. Especially in these recent cases.

i rely on myself and others i know, but never the police. cops don’t help people like me when we call them, they murder us. it’s happened time and again and it’s made me sincerely afraid of them.

You do realize police get paid for helping people, regardless of who they are, right?

The police have never helped me any of the times I’ve had to call them.

I’ve called them when I was accosted by a flasher who said obscene things to me, and I had to show them a photo of the dude to get them to believe it wasn’t a prank, and then they blamed what I was wearing (floor length, high necked gown, WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT ME TO COVER) and told me not to walk alone at night and didn’t look for the guy.

I had to call them to deal with the insurance when all the copper plumbing was stolen from my basement. They didn’t investigate at all, and just wrote me a slip for the insurance.

They didn’t investigate the guy threatening to murder and mutilate women who contacted me through niteflirt.

All they do is harass and murder people (especially POC).

They’re about as useful as a Roman Fire Department (roman fire departments turned into protection rackets where they burnt your house down if you didn’t pay them)
