Kate McKinnon is a huge transmisogynist and it hurts a lot to see everyone praising her after you see just how hurtful her depictions of trans women are. I’m specifically referring to Fitzwilliam in “The Big Gay Sketch Show”, a (to quote Wikipedia, tw: transmisogyny) “gender-confused English boy desperate to obtain a vagina”
This is from the same article that was going around earlier about her asking her mom what gay meant. It is from 2007 when the character was still in use, but it is the only published indicator of her views on it, it was her favorite. Also, she explicitly called the character as trans in case anyone is trying to deny that.
