100% behind this idea, if it can be coordinated across enough industries to make an impact. Any building of class consciousness in tandem with a middle finger to Trump is something we should all support.
For anyone who isn’t familiar with what a general strike is, it’s when most to all workers across most to all industries go on strike and refuse to work to protest something. It gets results when coordinated right, though it requires a lot of class consciousness and mobilization potential.
