A)This immediate retrenchment around the Democratic party and this casting of anyone who’s talking about working class stuff as a quasi white supremacist

B)The people who are like getting hundreds of notes saying that the problems that rural areas face aren’t real in the face of any and all fucking studies about the area 

like the area around my hometown will get like, two drunk driving deaths and a heroin overdose a year, this in an area with a very small population.  People don’t have any meaning, don’t feel like their life has any forward movement, so they kill themselves with this shit.  Working in a school was like existing in an alternate universe where people weren’t constantly depressed about their jobs and the impossibility of making ends meet.

Also like working class people in the states are quite disproportionately POC so like ???

Like shit that negatively affects working class folks is disproportionately hard on people of color because POC are disproportionately members of the working class.
