Terrible news from Rojava.  YPG fighters 
Michael Israel (27) and German Anton Neshek (Zana Ciwan) were murdered on November 29th.  They were in the midst of liberating a small village north of Raqqa from Daesh when the Turkish warplanes attacked their positions.  

We’re waiting for more information about Anton but we already know much about Michael – an American anarchist, devoted anti-fascist, and a member of the IWW.  Many of his friends and comrades have written lovely eulogies recounting stories of his commitment to the liberation of all people.  

Anton’s and Michael’s sacrifice will always be remembers.
