idk i thought people thought the princess stuff was problematic because it encouraged passivity and dependence on dudes
(which is weird b/c none of my floofy dress fantasies as a child had anything to do with dudes, but it might be different for other women idk)

Neither did mine… except sometimes because it was a way to get to be queen (I had a LOT of fantasies about having a lot of political and military power as a kid… not sure what that was about) and I mean Disney did Newsies which included a number about beating up scabs so it’s not like there’s not a precedent…
