Yeah this is a really common urban legend that always involves some new boogeyman, usually one that will scare ignorant right-wingers. There has NEVER been a confirmed case of someone being intentionally pricked with an HIV-tainted needle and then getting infected with the virus. This has never happened, anywhere. Not at raves, not at parties, not in political protests, not at movie theaters, not in public restrooms. Not in the US, not in other countries.

Actually there was one case but he was a doctor and he gave it to his ex-mistress as revenge when she tried to leave him, but like he was giving her vitamin B injections anyway so like that’s a very different situation

It was a fairly famous case.  I found out about it watching Forensic Files tho… so like… yeah (just FYI I’m also a leftist, am very sure antifa aren’t doing this and like given the brief lifespan of the virus outside the body it would be really really difficult and impractical to do this and would frankly be a lot simpler just to beat the shit out of nazis in the traditional way)
