I believe it’s better to fight dishonorably for a good cause than to fight honorably for a bad one.
Low blows for justice.
Sneaky machiavellian power plays for justice
Fighting for a bad cause, you’re dishonoured by the cause, it doesn’t matter if you “play by the rules” if the banner you’re rallying for is awful. But fighting by dark means for a good cause will result in you becoming darkened yourself – and it’s hard to do good if your empathy’s broken and your heart sees only ruin and ashes. You have to do it by calculated reason alone, because your soul is unable to lead. Generally the result of becoming bad to achieve good is that even when you win, you lose.
Nah, like being sneaky and subtle rather than attacking directly is a tactic the powerful decry not because it’s actually bad (it often saves lives rather than costs them) but because it doesn’t favor their advantages to the same extent.

Is a notion based essentially on the bigger/stronger/richer group having tantrums and crying about how it’s “Not faaaaaaaaaair!” when their enemies outwit them.
