fragilefontaine:

My friend imogen only has 20$ left for the month and she needs help. Shes a mentally ill trans woman and cant work in her current condition. Her bank card got stolen last weekend and she lost about 100$ before she was able to get a hold of the bank to cancel it. The doctor providing her hormones is threatening to cut her off because she owes them money she doesnt have.

She needs this money for food and hormones to survive. Starving kills people and most dont realize that us trans girls will go as far as buying hormones over food because thats just how life-saving this medicine is.

Imogen doesnt have a paypal and still has issues with her bank, so you can send money to mine (moosnator@gmail.com) and ill make sure it gets to her. Thank you for reading and sharing this, my friend means so much to me and it’s killing me to see her this low.

To quote Night Vale: “"The local chapter of the NRA is selling bumper stickers as part of their fundraising week. They sent the station one to get some publicity. And we’re here to serve the community, so I’m happy to let you all know about it. The stickers are made from good, sturdy vinyl, and they read: “Guns don’t kill people! It’s impossible to be killed by a gun; we are all invincible to bullets, and it’s a miracle!” Stand outside of your front door and shout “NRA!” to order one.“”

Oh my christ

The idea that femininity resides in being smaller/weaker/less than/whatever sucks. Femininity is not passivity, submission, or fragility, those are not where the feminine resides.

There’s nothing wrong with being smaller or weaker or what have you, but like that’s not a healthy place to place your ideas of what makes you feminine if you want to feel feminine (or like even if you don’t, cause like everybody’s smaller/weaker/etc than somebody)

were-all-queer-here:

Pls stop making lgbt people feel bad for falling into lgbt stereotypes. Like we didn’t ask for stereotypes. We didn’t ask for you to fetishize us. We’re just trying to be ourselves, we shouldn’t be shamed for “perpetuating stereotypes”. Let us exist in peace.

We’re not perpetuating stereotypes, we’re existing and people are making ridiculous generalizations based on us because they suck

AND ADDITIONALLY

If anyone’s like “BUT IT’S THE 18TH CENTURY”

I know that motherfucker, and guess what?  I’VE READ A BUNCH OF STUFF ABOUT AND BY HISTORICAL SEX WORKERS AND YOU KNOW WHAT’S MOTHERFUCKING HILARIOUS?????

It’s the same.  It’s always the fucking same.  We joke around behind Johns’ backs and our lives are like… often really normal.   They’re not super dramatic action packed nonsense like this and I’m just sick of being endlessly ENDLESSLY portrayed as simultaneously tragic and unceasingly disloyal and immoral (like telling Quiggly about Emily).  We’re usually sort of bawdy and snarky and tough.

Nancy and Violet are both totally real though and I love them
