All These Laws To Prevent The Abuse Of ADD Meds Suck

For one, why do I give a shit if somebody gets high?  I need my fucking meds.

Second of all, it’s probably easier now to get adderall and stay medicated if you don’t have ADD cause all the roadblocks they put up are ones that are WAY more burdensome if you’re forgetful, tend to lose things and be bad at keeping track of shit in general… like oh say somebody with ADD maybe?

I say if you want to reduce the amount of adderall misuse in the world they should only give you the prescription if you can’t find the prescription because an ADD person keeping track of a tiny slip of paper is a ridiculous expectation.

Also like just let people fucking get high, legalize the whole thing, let people do all the speed they want because that’s their choice and making sure people who need them have access to meds > protecting people from their own choices.

Sorry in advance for being so intrusive, but what mental illness are you referring that you have? I’m mentally ill myself and I don’t think my mental health could handle sex work as a profession. (Or any customer job.) Being employed is tough with these issues.

it’s no problem, I’m very open about what I have. Add, ptsd, pmdd, was severely anorexic when I was a teenager which is one of the reasons I couldn’t finish high school, I’m on a cocktail of a fuck ton of meds to be even as functional as I am

You know there’s a stimulant anti-anxiety drug that was developed in Russia and has never been brought out in the states because there’s no profit in bringing it over and testing it.

It’s called Bromantane.

As someone with anxiety and ADD issues this would be a fucking god send to me.  I’d really like to maybe set up crowdfunding stateside approval testing and then distributing it at cost (plus maybe a small amount of profit which would be used to test and import other drugs that would be useful but are not profitable.
