Y’ Know I’m Not An Ally or An Accomplice Or Whatever You Wanna Call It

To marginalized groups that I don’t belong to because I’m good or empathetic or moral or whatever.   Like I fight for other people’s liberation because I know that my liberation isn’t coming without theirs.   I don’t believe you can “abolish all hierarchies… except this one” and like honestly?  I know that if we have hierarchy some other motherfucker is going to be over me.  It’s so incredibly unlikely that in a struggle for social power I, me, one in like seven billion or whatever, am going to end up the big winner, the top of the pecking order that it’s like… y’ know?

The idea of not being allowed to step on people doesn’t bother me, what bothers me is that people are allowed to step on me and like unless I stop stepping on people we’ll never be able to gang up on the people that are allowed to step on all of us, beat the crap out of them and change the rules.

Fuck condescending altruism.  Incidentally this is why liberal social justice is a crock, and why communist social justice rocks.

Also I Feel Like The Liberal Idea Of Delinquency

Gets applied to leftist forms of social justice way too often and people who do bad stuff are labelled as “just bad” and they need to be killed or imprisoned because they’re “monsters” and IDK I just find the idea that so many people, anyone who’s ever fucked up or done something problematic is irredeemable to be… really scary and bad.

People are redeemable.  I don’t believe in prisons.  If you believe in the possibility of social change without simply massacring anyone who holds a position of privilege, you have to believe in the possibility of redemption, of learning better.

I also think it’s really fucked how the people who admit their wrongdoings are the ones we jump down the throats of.

Stop Whining, Build Communism

Also I swear to god I’m so sick of “radicals” who just want to tear shit apart, and who care more about personal purity and their egos than building the fucking revolution.  I see people snarking about people who “taking too much space by doing too much shit” (obvs you can take too much space in meetings or too much capacity of an org, but if it’s just you getting work done…) and it’s like "there is a nearly unlimited amount of space for building revolutionary shit.  If they’re building something, go build some other thing or help them… or whatever.  They’re not stealing your thunder.  Don’t let the fact that their effectiveness and productivity makes you feel like you’re not Mr. Kickass Activist make you a jealous, bitter liability.”
