Also like even if I somehow managed

To become a member of the exploiter class, I wouldn’t be happy under this system. Because the stress of attaining power in this system when you’re not born to it is stressful, there’s the fear of returning to your place among the downtrodden and I cannot be truly happy when so many people suffer so much. I want luxury, freedom from want, freedom from fear of want, and I want that for everyone

Seriously though

Silk sheets, Hermés bags, spa treatments, whirl pool baths nothing’s too good for the working class. When society is properly organized you’ll come home from doing your voluntary 2 hours of work and be brought fresh strawberries of perfect flavor and succulence by your robot fridge, and you’ll be able to lounge around and read, or putter in your garden or go dancing, or do Mani-pedis with friends or whatever you like. Life’s going to be so sweet after the rev

I’m Reading A Thing About The Mujeres Libres and It’s Making Me Think About Tactics

Like I think organizing effective community based, leaderless useful shit is a really important way of advertising “Hey, our stuff isn’t just a bunch of nice ideas that can’t be implemented, look at our example” and also allows people to practice self organization and self rule to prepare for the responsibilities of a stateless society. We need to take pride in building practical, useful structures for cooperation and mutual aid.

Like I think it might actually be important to keep our buildings in good order and ourselves looking put together (put together doesn’t mean traditional, it just means like maintaining the roots on your blue hair, and laundering ones trousers and such) whenever possible, because it says “Hey, we’re not a bunch of vague dreamers, we can do stuff, we’re energetic” which I mean is obviously not possible for everyone or in all situations, and shouldn’t be prioritized over other human needs, but IDK.

Also I think it’s important that we look at the science of persuasion, because obviously it’s not enough to get our ideas out there, we need to look at what actually changes beliefs, because what works isn’t always what seems like it should work.

I also think that childhood will be much nicer after the revolution

Because

  1. Those magical, pinterest gorgeous, birthdays will be available to all kids not just the children of the rich,
  2. Years of parental leave for all parents, as honestly increases in efficiency have meant much less labor is needed to produce everything society needs (and wants), so parents will be able to take a biiig chunk of time off to raise their child
  3. Group childcare will mean parents will also be able to take a break as needed.
  4. No kid’ll get bullied because of what clothes or toys they do or don’t have because clothes won’t be status symbols, just personal expression, and the coolest toys will be equally available to all children.
  5. State of the art awesome playgrounds, with a ton of thought and creativity put in because it turns out there are a ton of spare resources when we aren’t giving them all to the ultra rich.
  6. Kickass, results based education (no more getting teenagers up early when they’re not supposed to be up, no more homework which has been shown not to improve learning)
  7. Parents who are never stressed about money will be more loving and patient.
  8. Single parents won’t have to struggle to make ends meet and will be given as much help and support as they need
  9. No more children of color taken from loving families by racist assholes.
  10. People won’t have to wait till they’re “established” to have kids, so you’ll be able to have them when you still can crawl around on the floor and have plenty of energy (and if you are older society will help you out if you need it)
  11. Children get to focus on developing into being great people instead of effective laborers for capitalist overlords.
  12. Healthy, tasty food available for all children
  13. Vaccinations are mandatory.
  14. Great teachers who are there because they want to be, schools that are beautiful, comfortable and never underfunded
  15. Teenagers will have greater independence and greater safety

How come corporations can get away with the doofy ham handed propaganda totalitarian governments can’t?

HOW DO THEY KEEP SO MANY PEOPLE DOING TEAM BUILDING EXERCISES?

Seriously? How?  Like how do they get people to invest in that shit? Like the regimen in charge of a huge country can’t get that kind of results, and like they honestly weren’t as doofy as this shit.
