I see what you mean– from my end, I heard people hypersexualizing the Spanish word “papi” loooong before I ever heard of kink. But it really sucks that I’m made to feel uncomfortable for calling my dad anything but “dad” or “pop.” :-/ That really sucks. People co-opting terms that children use to show affection to their parents sucks
