Why Do People Think Racism Is Edgy?

You know what’s edgy?  Saying “That little black kid shouldn’t have been shot, you slimy pig bastard” 

Insulting the cops is edgy, that’ll get you shot.  Insulting POC’ll get you a show on comedy central.

Now I personally believe that the statement that results in people trying to shoot me is edgier than the one that results in me getting a television show… 

Also a cop monitoring the picket line was photographing everyone there, and asked me “What’s with the white makeup?” and I had to hold up my arm to prove that this is just the color I am and then he asked why I’m so pale and was like “I’ve got Scottish heritage too and I’m not that pale” Fuck you dude.  Honestly I think it’s just an “I’m armed and can ask you totally inappropriate questions if I want to because I have a fucking gun” power trip.

That said that encounter would likely have been worse if I weren’t so pale.
