Science has proven that:

  • Humans have auras
  • Humans have organs that sense energy
  • We inherit memories from our anscestors
  • Meditation repairs telomeres in DNA, which slows the process of aging.
  • Compassion extends life
  • Love is more than just an emotion
  • Billions of other universes exist
  • Meditation speeds healing

Wow

Most of this is wrong.  Meditation speeds healing because relaxation speeds healing and relaxation also slows aging.

“energy” is a misused gobbledygook word.

No we do not have auras.

Other universes aren’t proven.

And no we do not have genetic memory, that is not even slightly how epigenetics works.

Christ.

tumblr gives horrible skin advice. when will y’all stop telling everyone to put coconut oil on their face? it’s highly comedogenic and l wouldn’t recommend it at all for those who suffer with acne.

yep, I second not using coconut oil on your face, since using it as a moisturizer on my legs gave me leg pimples. Well that was a unique experience.

However argan oil gets a 0, meaning it’s not comedogenic at all and it’s been great for my skin, the hype for that one is warranted in my opinion (I have combination skin that is oily in places, dry in others) and it just makes my skin soft and hydrated, and never broke me out. Any pure argan oil will do, no need to buy the overpriced one at Sephora, check out health food stores and you can usually get 60 ml for 12-15$. You only need a few drops!

I just wanted to butt in and recommend that anyone interested in trying argan oil seek out oil harvested and sold by cooperatives of Moroccans/Algerians, and is fair trade. Argan trees only grow in Morocco and Algeria and harvesting argan nuts are part of the traditional culture there. Supporting non-fair trade oils sold by cosmetic companies supports European/American countries buying up land and exploiting this resource.

Argan oil is in fact comedogenic.
