Wrapped up in my furs (real, vintage, NEVER that plastic fake crap, except for fake leopard skin, that has to be fake or it doesn’t work) with my painted face that smells ever so lightly of coty airspun (I don’t actually use it as my skin HATES talc, but the smell is too lovely) and the waxy sweetness of lipstick, in my heaviest jewelry, this is the perfect scent, warm and sweet and spicy, bohemian royalty in resins and amber, sandalwood, bay leaf, patchouli. It is bliss
OMG this is my perfect Gardenia. I’ve been searching forever, sweet and fresh and without the gross coconut scent I get in so many gardenia scents, with a warm sexy base of benzoin. Just perfect
Cigarette smoke, floral perfume, a hint of sweat… opens very fresh dries into something charmingly filthy. It smells like a smoker wearing perfume, it smells how your hair smells after a night in a smoky bar with a trace of last night’s perfume.
It’s a smokey, slutty, sweaty morning after scent, incredibly evocative.
It smells like candy, and every other fruity-floral summer fragrance aimed at women in their 20s and sometimes that’s fun.

A lush wet fruity floral, the kind of thing a fruity floral should be. It’s complex, interesting, dramatic, and smells extraordinarily, wonderfully luxurious and expensive, no wan dull cheap body wash fruity floral of the celebrity scent school here. Truly unique and absolutely beautiful. Sexy in an expensive dinner dress with a deep decolletage way.
Glorious aldehydes, smells how I wanted Chanel no 5 to smell, honeysuckle, beautiful, sexy, old fashioned, smells like soap and clean skin and warmth. It’s very strong, and very lovely. It makes me feel like a fine lady of 1927. So glad I have this in my collection.
On me instead of anything resembling lush, rich chocolate, I get the cloying sweetness and artificial pseudo-chocolate of cocoa pebbles.
Literally, it smells JUST LIKE cocoa pebbles, which incidentally I feed to puppy play subs as fake dog food and they buy that it’s real dog food, so… uh, yeah, no, this is not chocolate. I’ll stick to Chocomusk by Al-Rehab thank you very much.
Very grape and vanilla which is a charming unexpected combination. It has the heady heavy resin qualities of vanilla, a very sweet french vanilla icecream vanilla with the crisp freshness of grape. There’s something candied in the scent, a little bit grape soda, but not cheap soda, like an artisanal grape-vanilla soda in a glass bottle with fancy graphic design. It makes me think of a very worldly teenage girl, perhaps a teenaged Eloise (of the Plaza hotel) sophisticated, aware of quality but still young and playful.
