In My Ultra Leftist Paradise

There will be a libertarian zone.  It will be free to enter, but not to leave (can’t have them using our free health care and food and going back and saying they proved their point) except for those brought there as children or born there.  There will be no minimum wage.  No honest labelling laws.  No workplace safety laws. All services will be private and ownership of these services will be on a first come first serve basis, as with property ownership.  All travel to other countries must be done one their own and using none of our infrastructure.  Before they arrive all infrastructure built with tax money, or in other socialistic manners will be removed.

People will be allowed to bring nothing with them, because bootstraps, on the land, ownership of which will be available on a first come first served basis will be livestock, tools, and some housing, but no one is forced to go.

Conduct business as you like there, all libertarians welcome.  The only thing you’re not allowed is trade with countries with ANY social democratic programs, and not allowed to have a standing army, but if anyone tries to invade you, the larger country will prevent you from being invaded, free of charge.

We’ll see how you do.

The Perfect Scent?

Me: *reading Chandler Burr’s The Perfect Scent* This is good, I love how he defends synthetic scent compounds.
Chandler Burr: *Goes on weird anti-communist rant in the middle of a book on perfume*
Me: I came out to have a good time and I’m honestly just feeling so attacked right now.

Where the World’s Unsold Cars Go to Die

Above are photos of thousands and thousands of brand new, unsold cars in various locations from the U.S., Italy, U.K., Spain, Russia, and elsewhere.

Millions of unsold cars are left to deteriorate in old airports, parking lots, and new tracks of land being bought to store these cars. Auto companies won’t sell them at a cheap price because it wouldn’t be profitable to.

The car industry cannot stop making new cars because they would have to close their factories and lay off tens of thousands of employees. This would further add to the recession. Also the domino effect would be catastrophic as steel manufactures would not sell their steel. All the tens of thousands of places where car components are made would also be effected, indeed the world could come to a grinding halt.

capitalism is cool, correct, and sensible

gotta love that invisible hand

This source is bad, down for the message, but can we get a more reliable source or a correction, cause like fuck capitalism, but let’s also continue to question information even it supports our world view.

Being a communist I find that people spend most of their time arguing, not with my platform, but with me about what my platform actually is.

I believe this is because the platform I in fact have, is rather hard to oppose, I mean you know “feed the hungry, house the homeless, penalize those who’ve done grievous injury to their fellow human beings, give everyone the means of existence and then allow them the freedom to do what they wish with it” is a bit difficult to disagree with.
