With like a Mulder/Scully (Believer/skeptic) dynamic where the Scully is right like 90% of the time but then occasionally occasionally the Mulder is correct and it’s some bizarro sci-fi/supernatural weirdness.  Because then the Scully’s skepticism would be justified, and you’d have to come up with explanations other than shitty boring easy explanation for any bizarre shit serial killers for bizarre circumstances when it was one of the non-supernatural episodes.

I think it’d be fun.
