I Feel Like The Fact That Culturally The Options We Get For Heroes That Aren’t “Wholesome” (Aka: “Upstanding white dudes”)

Are the ones who aren’t that moral is actually creepy.

Like IDK the fact that you have hyper moral ultra wholesome Captain America vs unwholesome but also somewhat amoral Deadpool is kinda shitty.  People with tattoos and weird haircuts can give just as much of a shit about doing the right thing as all american apple pie types.  How come our superhero paragons of virtuous upstandingness are also paragons of masculinity every damn time?  (Superman, Captain America).  Anyone who’s not a chipper wholesome gender conforming as American as apple pie type isn’t allowed to be that baby-kissingly, old lady savingly, “I just want to do the right thing”ingly decent and good and even when they are that good they don’t get quite as much credit.  Superheroines don’t get the same brownie points for righteousness that superheroes do cause compassion is just expected of women.  Superheroes of color are more often treated as if fighting for justice is less selfless for them.  Gender non-conforming superheroes (like say Deadpool actually) are nearly always dropped in the anti-hero bucket.

That makes me sad.

TL;DR: What about a superhero comic where a character heavily based on Grace Jones persistently and unwaveringly does the right thing and is a pure cinnamon roll
