Also if veganism is ethical

You shouldn’t need to argue that it’s healthy.  Like if eating other humans extended your life, you still shouldn’t do it.  You can’t kill and eat other humans, even if it’d be really really good for you.  So like even if vegans

were to

live shorter, less healthy lives (not saying they do), if animals lives are equivalent to those of humans, you still shouldn’t eat them.

Y’ know what I mean?

Omnivores leaving vegans the fuck alone 2k15

I eat meat (because guess who doesn’t process other sources of protein correctly? If you guessed me, you are absolutely correct), and you know what?  Unless they’re being a dick to you or others, leave vegans and vegetarians the fuck alone.

Like, yes, the way we raise most of our meat?  Pretty awful.  The effect of large scale beef production on the enviornment?  Not great.

That said, I prioritize human well being and there are plenty of people who can’t live without meat… but I think a reduction in meat consumption is a good thing and that doesn’t mean you can’t have a burger, but it  definitely means you shouldn’t be a dick to people who are reducing beef prices for you by reducing demand for the commodity and helping mitigate the environmental impact of that burger.

So, basically, thank you vegans and vegetarians.

That said, those of you think that humans “aren’t meant to process animal proteins”… yeah, no, we’re omnivores but we’ve been eating cooked food for a long ass time, BUT THAT DOESN’T MEAN YOU’RE NOT RIGHT ABOUT ETHICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONCERNS
