Metal is not about fashion and I hope some people realize that. You don’t necessarily have to purchase bullet belts, spikes or any expensive black leather merchandise to show your appreciation for metal. Some people worry too much about their image. You don’t have to pursue the “metal” image. Just listen to metal. That is the biggest way of appreciating the genre.

But if you’re into the style and like those things there’s nothing wrong with wearing or liking them.
