I just wanted to say–some of my earliest memories involve me feeling “weird” reading about slaves in historical books or feeling “something funny” reading a book about a character beating another. Now that I’m an adult I recognize that was just me feeling turned on before I even had a sex drive, and I’m very into the BDSM lifestyle. I understand the position that it reflects power structures and I know a LOT of genuinely misogynistic doms, but I feel like that’s never been true for me.
