The amount of food you can realistically grow in a small garden is pretty negligible compared to what a family actually eats, you’re not going “off grid” here, it’s a token gesture… and having every inch of your property being “productive” is hard work, so much more work than a lawn, and uses more water. Tired after a hard shift? well your work’s just beginning in your “revolutionary” garden, get those sleeves rolled up now, wouldn’t want to be “impractical”
